How do I set up the MAC OS Telephone softphone app with my VoIP service?

Did you know that Yay.com has its own dedicated Softphone apps for you to use? You can download them from our apps page, or if you already have an account with us you can invite your Users to the apps via your online Dashboard.

Our apps use our proprietary tech underneath to maintain crystal clear audio quality in the toughest conditions, while still keeping battery and mobile data usage low. Our apps are free to use and download across all our plans.

 

To setup your VoIP account on Telephone you will need your SIP User <your_SIP_username>, <your_password> and host talk.yay.com.

This information can be found in your dashboard under Users

After installing Telephone, follow the steps below to configure your VoIP account and begin making and receiving calls.
