In your Yay Dashboard, navigate to Account > Integrations > Install Integrations > Power BI, and login into your Microsoft Azure account.
Once you’ve done this, you will have a Config Required item in your integrations list.
If you are wanting to load an amount of data, select Load All Historic Data.
If you do not load any data, or decide to keep data concurrent, we will never send any data to Power BI.
Once the initial save is complete, the integration will be in a connecting state.
This will trigger the creation of a Semantic Model within your Power BI. Once we have finished loading in the data that you selected, the connection status will change to Live Data.
In Power BI, there will be Workspaces, most likely just My Workspace.
In this Workspace there will be a table of content, some of which are the Semantic Models, as mentioned above with the formatting Yay.com Data.
This is where the data we send over is stored and you can then create reports from this.
You can use Explore this data to build these reports and use the data from Power BI.
After you reach this point, this is where our involvement ends in regards to the functions of Power BI.
