Yealink offer multiple handsets that can be used with VoIP systems, however a select few were specifically designed to be used with other services (such as Microsoft Teams).
Despite this, there is an easy way to get them connected to your account and provisioned to your SIP User.
How do I add this handset to my account?
1. Log in to your dashboard and head to Voice>Config>Hardware and click the + Add Hardware option in the top right
2. Type in the MAC address of the device, and specify the model name (for the Teams phones, these will be devices such as the Yealink T56A, MP54, MP56, etc), and click 'Add Hardware'
3. Assign a SIP user to the device in the My Devices section
4. Factory reset the device
5. When the handset loads back up, you will see a circular icon in the bottom left with a picture of a deskphone inside it
6. Press on this icon and the handset will change from Teams mode to PBX mode, and should now be connected to the SIP user on your account!
