While our auto-provisioning system will work on most default network configurations, if a particular network has strict rules, you should ensure that the following domains are whitelisted:
Depending on the version of firmware that a device is running, it may not be able to connect to Yay until it is upgraded to the latest version. For a list of supported Yealink models and the minimum compatible hardware, please visit our FAQ here.
Note - Some EOL handsets may not have the correct firmware available to be used with the latest security standards, and may not be compatible with Yay for secure auto-provisioning.
Ensure that the handset has been assigned to a User in the Dashboard under Voice > Config > Hardware > Device.
Perform a Factory Reset of the handset to ensure it reconnects to the RPS correctly. Most Yealink models can be reset by holding down the ‘OK’ or ‘redial’ button for 10 seconds.
If your device has provisioned successfully with the correct details, but is not registered or not able to make and receive calls, then please explore the local firewall configuration point above, and ensure that any SIP ALG firewall setting is disabled.
If you are still struggling to get the handset to connect, please contact support (help@yay.com) and provide the Public IP address of the network that the handsets will be communicating from so we can run further diagnostics.
